Death is not welcome here

On October 11, Jack Kevorkian, "Dr. Death," will be speaking to students at the University of Florida. Dr. Death will be spreading his contempt of life message to young minds at the University of Florida at their expense. Yes, that's right – the students are forced to pay for Dr. Death's speaking fee of $50,000 via their activity fees. This is the man that boasts of euthanizing 130 elderly, disabled and sick people.

Will you help us get down to the University of Florida to peacefully present a pro-life message?

In order for us to go help rally support and send a strong message that "Dr. Death is not welcome here" we need your prayers and your financial support. Going down there means spending funds on transportation, literature, meals and making signs. We need to raise $2,394.77 within two weeks to make this happen.

Pro-life Memorial Day update

We have a few more days until Pro-life Memorial Day. If you haven’t already put together an event to mourn the victims of abortion we have a couple ideas that are easy and quick and don’t need a lot of planning.

First, on Monday, October 1, wear a black arm band. It’s simple and easy to do. Many people will stop and ask you what it’s about. This gives you an opportunity to share the truth about abortion and the 48 million Americans lost to abortion since 1973.

Also you can post this as your profile picture to help spread the word. If you post this as your MySpace profile let us know and we’ll add you as one of our top friends!

Your Voice is a Weapon?

Here is a Planned Parenthood supporter/representative speaking at an Ani DiFranco concert. On this video she says, "your voice is a weapon." True, your voice could be a weapon if you choose to do so. I'd prefer my voice to be one of truth and compassion, not a weapon to advance a philosophy of abortion on demand and sexual immorality.

Pro-life Memorial Day v2.0

By now you know that the third annual Pro-Life Memorial Day is Monday, October 1. For two years, many of you held rallies and public events, memorializing the lives lost to abortion. This year, we want to ask EVERYONE, whether you're planning a public event or not, to join with us in this one, simple way to show people that you are in mourning. It’s so easy, you'll kick yourself for not doing it. And this is something that has been used throughout modern history as an outward symbol of mourning and remembrance.

So what are we asking you to do? It’s simple--wear a black armband. Find black cloth, cut it into a strip, and wrap it around your upper arm. Wear it throughout the day, and people will take notice. It’s not going to make you sweat, ruin your sleep schedule, or distract you from quality time in front of the XBox or Wii. What it will do is tell everyone that there is something that has driven you to wear it, and people will ask. And when they do ask, you get to tell them about the tragedy of abortion and why you are so passionate about ending it.

Now that we have you thinking about what raggedy old T-shirt you're gonna breathe new life into (as an armband), we've got more news about Pro-life Memorial Day. But guess what? We're not telling you! We're working on another quick and easy way for you to show everyone how devoted you are to the cause of life, and this one doesn't involve tying something to your body, or standing outside in the cold. In fact, you may be able to REACH EVEN MORE PEOPLE with this tactic, so stayed tuned! We'll let you know next week what it is.
